A new school year - how exciting! It's great to be back and I am excited for this new year!
This page will be updated every Monday by 4pm and will contain details about what's going on in science class and list the homework for the week. Also, check out the other pages to learn a little more about Mrs. Adams, her rules and requirements, and the specific units we will be going through in 7th grade. Class Happenings: We're starting out with an interesting science activity using "ductainers" (ask your son or daughter about them!) to help us develop a definition of "science." We will begin the week by brainstorming our own ideas for a definition of science and then move on to using the ductainers to "be" scientists and enhance this definition. Throughout this process we will also talk about what is NOT considered science and how our faith also plays a role. It should be a fun way to start the school year! Homework: Mon 8/18 - no school Tue 8/19 - no school Wed 8/20 - First Day of School! no homework Thurs 8/21 - lab contract due Monday Fri 8/22 - lab contract |
