This week we are working to achieve the following goal: Construct an explanation of one type of symbiosis (close, long-term relationship between 2 or more species that aid in survival), using examples from multiple ecosystems. Students are working with their lab partner(s) to research and present information to the rest of the class. Monday and Tuesday will be work days for this project, with Wednesday being our presentation day. Thursday we will take notes over what we learned during the presentations. Friday we will apply what we learned as we watch clips about the way sharks interact with other creatures and try to label these interactions as a specific type of symbiosis. We will end the week with an exit slip, assessing what the students have learned.
