This week we will study different processes that can occur in cells and also take a look at how cells play a role in the "bigger picture." Monday we will finish discussing osmosis and learning about the two types of active transport: exocytosis and endocytosis. Tuesday we will create a "human cell" to show how endocytosis and exocytosis take place. In addition, we will briefly disucuss photosynthesis using readings, videos, and pictures. On Wednesday we will complete a lab about fermentation and cellular respiration. By the time we get to Thursday we will be ready to finish up those discussions and start taking about what happens when cells work together with other cells. This discussion will continue on to Friday. We will have a TEST over all the Biology information next week Wednesday or Thursday.
