This week we will be taking the basic information we know about the Earth and it's tectonic plates and applying it to real life situations. We will be talking about earthquakes and tsunamis! Monday we will finish up our notes then begin discussing recent earthquakes, earthquakes in the Midwest, and comparing and contrasting recent, deadly earthquakes. Tuesday we will have the opportunity to create our own earthquake using the National Geographic Forces of Nature interactive. Wednesday will be an "off" day due to our field trip to Elim for the cross country meet - should be fun! We pick back up on Thursday to finish up our discussion about earthquakes and tsunamis. Friday we will start our last topic in this Earth Science unit - erosion, weather, and deposition.
