This is a fun week as we begin our new unit - Frogs!! Students will be dissecting a Frog Monday-Wednesday to 1) learn about the unique features of a frog that helps it survive in its habitat and 2) compare and contrast those features with humans. Additionally, students will either answer short answer questions about the systems in a frog OR color, cut, and glue a frog "cut and paste" to re-create what they see inside the frog. Thursday and Friday will be two work days as students begin some big-picture essays about frogs, answering questions like "Should students dissect in school?" and "What kinds of weird things are happening to frogs, and why?" It's going to be a great week!
