As we being a new week we will actually be finishing up an old activity. Monday is the last day of our differentiated density investigation where students are performing experiments in order to answer the question "why do some things sink and other things float?" with the most accurate and robust model possible. On Tuesday we will come back together as a whole class to finish up one last experiment together and then discuss what we've learned. On Wednesday the students will be creating their own textbook section to write down everything they've learned about density. Thursday of this week will be our first experiment on our new topic - solids, liquids, and gases. Students will visit different stations in order to "build a definition" for each state of matter. Friday we will discuss what we learned, take notes, watch a video, and apply this knowledge.
