This week in science we will be entering our final topic of our ecology unit as we seek to answer the question "How do Living Things Survive?" We will begin on Monday looking at variations between living things - height, color, design, etc. and think about how those variations can impact survival. Students will have homework on Monday night that continues this investigation. On Tuesday we will begin investigating a specific case of variation impacting survival as we learn about the story of the Peppered Moth. Students will learn the history and science behind the Peppered Moth throughout Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Friday we will summarize how the specific variations between moths affected their survival and the species as a whole.
